Machine Learning and Deep Learning Solutions for Predictive Analysis of Drinking Water Safety

چکیده :
This study presents the application of machine learning and deep learning techniques to classify and predict the quality of potable water based on key physicochemical parameters. The dataset used includes nine features: pH, hardness, solids, chloramines, sulfate, conductivity, organic carbon, trihalomethanes, and turbidity. Three models-K-Nearest Neighbors, logistic regression and artificial neural network-executions were made and evaluated to determine their effectiveness in identifying safe and unsafe drinking water. The results highlight the power of each model in terms of the accuracy and reliability of the classification, showing the possibility of intelligent algorithms to support public health inspection and water resource management.
