Introducing a new method for formation control the leader-follower of UAVs based on quantum neural networks

چکیده :

In UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), the position relationship between the leader and follower(s) is crucial for maintaining formation shape, collision avoidance, coordinated movement where the follower must adjusts its speed to maintain a desired separation and bearing, tolerance relative to the leader. Considering the computational overhead of this method, in this article we present a method using quantum neural networks (QNN) algorithms for improve them. The simulation results show that by on average 50% improve position error and reduces the convergence time. So this is a new window where combining artificial intelligence techniques and quantum computing can increase computational speed, improve accuracy and flexibility.
